This page explains how to request deletion of personal data associated with your Acmetutor account. It supplements our Privacy Policy. Depending on your location, you may also have rights under privacy laws (for example, access, correction, or portability); contact us and we will respond in line with applicable law.
What you can request
- Account deletion: Close your account and remove profile data we no longer need to operate the Services.
- Correction: Update inaccurate account or profile information through the Services or by contacting us.
- Deletion of specific personal data: Where technically feasible and not outweighed by legal retention needs.
How to submit a request
Send an email from the address associated with your account to [email protected] with the subject line “Data deletion request.” Include:
- Your registered email address and display name (if any).
- Whether you want full account deletion or specific data removed.
- Any information that helps us verify your identity (we may ask follow-up questions to protect your account).
You may also mail a written request to:

What we delete or anonymize
- Profile and account settings stored in our systems, where technically feasible.
- Personal data that is no longer needed to provide the Services or meet legal obligations.
What we may retain
- Legal and financial records: Such as invoices, tax records, and transaction metadata for the period required by law.
- Aggregated or de-identified data: That does not reasonably identify you.
- Information necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
- Course activity tied to instructors: Instructors may retain student progress or submissions as needed to evidence completion or disputes; we will coordinate where possible.
Timing
We aim to confirm receipt within a few business days and complete deletion or anonymization within thirty (30) days unless a longer period is required by law or we need additional verification. Complex requests may take longer; we will communicate status.
Third-party processors
Payment processors (for example, Stripe or Braintree), email providers, and hosting vendors maintain records under their own legal obligations. We will direct applicable requests where appropriate; you may also exercise rights directly with those providers when offered.
Appeals and questions
If you disagree with our response, reply to our message explaining your concern. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in your jurisdiction.
